Gymnastics Conditioning Circuit Training at The University of Illinois

I went back to Champaign, Illinois where I did Gymnastics for the University of Illinois from ’97-2001. It was a great visit and Cari and I brought our daughter Averi to Kenney gym where Cari and I used to train together. Since I was back there and in the gym, I decided to give the strength training circuit a try that the current gymnastics team does on Fridays. It has been over 11 years since I did a gymnastics workout like that, but considering everything, I think I did pretty well. I also had a sprained ankle that is healing so I didn’t do some things. Here is the first half of the circuit and I’ll post the second half next week!

4. Partner Squats (10)
5. Ab Roller (10)
6. Frog Jumps on runway
7. Planche Presses with Spot (5)
